Pass 75% and the next one opens; let it slide back under and the next one closes again, because this is a reading of what you know now rather than a record of what you once did. Recommended stays inside the squares that are open. Decks of your own are not on the path and are left out of it; switch to Decks to study those.

One tally a day: how many cards were learned (levels 1–3) and shaky (level 4) at the end of it. Days you do not practise carry the last tally forward. Hidden cards are left out, and the history starts the first day you answer a card, because it cannot be worked out backwards.

Your own decks (like “Slang”) sit alongside the built-in ones on the home screen and are quizzed the same way. Tap a deck to add cards to it.
An imported CSV takes the same columns as the built-in decks (english, chinese, jyutping or pinyin, segments) and only needs english plus one of the other two. It lands in a new deck of yours, in the language you are currently on.

One at a time
Each language keeps its own progress, its own decks and its own hidden cards, side by side and completely separate. Switching parks one and picks up the other exactly where you left it. Nothing is cleared, and coming back finds every card at the level it was.
Your session settings are shared, since those are about how you like to study rather than about a language.
Settings live in this browser alongside your progress, ride along in an Export, and are left alone by “Reset all progress”.
An export carries your progress, your own decks and these settings in one JSON file. Importing merges it back in and never overwrites newer history.
